Hanover Beer Festival 2015

So here we go again. A mixture of excitement and trepidation as we prepare to roll up our sleeves and get to work on the Q cider stall at the Hanover Beer Festival this weekend. This year we’ve got an amazing selection of ciders with the picks being the South Downs Cider (made out in Alfriston), the Wobblegate Pink (for a fruity twist), and the Halletts Perry (for when your done with apples). These will be alongside the rest of the ciders, and of course one of the widest selections of fine ales and stouts you’ll find anywhere. Yes, it’s fair to say, we’re looking forward to the weekend.

But aside from the fun, there is a serious reason for the beer festival. The Hanover Community Centre is charity-run and if it wasn’t for events such as this they wouldn’t be able to keep the centre running. So many local residents get to use this amazing local asset, from baby groups to dance classes, yoga to dog training, it really does serve so many. The Friday night has sold out but there may still be some tickets available on the door on the Saturday so if you’re free pop down and support this worthwhile cause.

We’ll see you there.
